Seagate - Denied warranty for new defective drive
Do not buy these junk drives from this company.I purchased an external drive from a local retailer and the first time I went to use the drive it did not work.
The drive was defective and I was past the local retailer return window when I opened the drive for the first time. Jump to Seagate warranty.
I had to pay to ship my dead on arrival external hard drive to Seagate warranty and wait several weeks to find out I was denied service.Now, I have a $120 drive that I have spend $15 to ship to them - $135 spent total in a black box trash that is as good as a door stop.
